Panoramic
Panoramic radiography images the entire lower face and jaws on a single, flat film. The radiographic images include the mandibular condyles, the maxillary sinuses, the nose, the maxilla and the mandible. The patient is situated between the tube head and the cassette, and the exposure is made in one continuous sweep as the cassette and the tube head rotate around the patient's head.
