Townes Skull View
The Townes view is an A/P view used to assess the mandibular condyles and the condyle necks. It is especially useful in case of suspected fractures of the mandible. Know as the "ear view", the Townes demonstrates great detail of the middle ear, mastoid air cells, promotory of the cochlea, and detail of the orbital floor.
